Keep the components separate.
A compact Bicycle-reference scoring aid, followed by your agreed result.
Build a readable calculation
Separate card totals, applicable bonuses and remaining-hand deductions on paper. Check them with another player, then record the final change. Our two-team tool is a manual ledger rather than an automatic card calculator.
A useful checking habit
Label each component before adding it. If someone disagrees with an item, return to the same full reference and resolve that item first. Do not adjust a total silently to make it look plausible.
Keep context with the record
Our scorekeeper accepts signed whole-number changes. Use the note field for a relevant correction and export before clearing the device. Different formats may require different calculations.
Bonus reference
| Item | Points |
|---|---|
| Natural canasta | 500 |
| Mixed canasta | 300 |
| Each red three | 100; all four = 800 |
| Going out | 100 |
| Concealed going out | Additional 100 |
Red-three values are positive if the side has melded, negative if it has not. Add melded-card values and deduct remaining-hand values. This aid does not determine whether bonuses are eligible.
