Agree on the final change
Ask the person calculating to distinguish the hand’s components from its final net score. The scorekeeper stores that final change for each team. It does not recognise cards, verify eligibility or award bonuses automatically.
Check names and signs
Read both team names aloud. Confirm whether each number is positive, zero or negative. Then let a second player check the newest row, rather than only looking at the large running totals. A correct sum of an incorrect entry still produces the wrong record.
Keep a useful explanation
The optional note can record a correction or an agreement relevant to the entry. Do not put passwords, private account details or unrelated personal information there. Imagine reading the note tomorrow: would it help explain what changed?
Export before leaving
The record stays in the browser on this device. Export a CSV before clearing site data or moving to another phone. Undo handles the latest hand; for an older mistake, keep an export before rebuilding the record.
